Meet The Owner

Kindell Rae (she/they) is a professional dancer, and the owner of Portland Dance eXchange. Over the last eight years, Kindell has shared her passion for dance through teaching both adults and children in her hometown of Portland, Oregon.

In addition to running the studio, Kindell works as a model, background dancer, and creative director for various professional recording artists; bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to her students.

Her exuberant energy and celebratory perspective on learning has helped build a branch of the Portland dance community. Rooted in radical self love, creative expression, and joyous curiosity, her mission is to help provide a safe space for the community to feel empowered in their body, mind, and spirit.
